Application
 

 

It is necessary to measure and monitor electrical parameters and measure energy in the AC side of the tower base station such as state grid, diesel, air conditioner, lighting, power supply, and so on. On the DC side, monitoring electrical parameters and measuring energy such as base station communication devices, batteries and other devices working under -48V power supply is necessary. The data can be real-time uploaded by RS485.

Acrel Base Station uses three devices to monitor the whole energy flow:

 

  1. AC Multi-Channel energy meter is mainly used to monitor AC air-conditioning, lighting, other devices electrical usage

      

  2. DC Multi-Channel energy meter is mainly used to monitor DC communication devices, and account for different Telecom operators' electrical usage.

     

  3. Without energy consumption monitoring, Acrel also offers the Lead-Acid Battery's Life-Circuit Monitoring device, to make sure your UPS backup power working normally

Some Telecom Base Stations will use AC systems to power other devices, like lighting, and air conditioning, Acrel can offer you multi-circuit energy meters to monitor each circuit by using one meter, this meter can be a panel meter or din rail meter.
