Residual Current Operated Relay

 

 

In industrial applications, our Residual Current Operated Relays are often used in combination with external toroidal coils to protect circuits against equipment damage and electrical equipment fires caused by earth faults. In addition, they come with indirect contact protection to provide good protection against the risk of electric shock. They are mainly used in TT and TN system distribution circuits for 50Hz AC and in environments with rated voltages of 400V or less and have good operating efficiency.

Our Residual Current Operated Relays can be sensitive to a range of display, alarm and control functions in the event of a current fault, as a means of protecting equipment safety. At the same time they can record 24-hour changes in site current to accurately protect personnel and electrical equipment from leakage currents.
